Work Experience

I have been working as a picture researcher at the Paul Mellon Centre since 2011. Publications I have worked on include Johan Zoffany: 1733-1810 by Mary Webster; The New Painting of the 1860s: Between the Pre-raphaelites and the Aesthetic Movement by Allen Staley; Richard Barkes Bonington: The Complete Drawings by Patrick Noon and State Hermitage Museum Catalogue: British Paintings; 16th-19th Centuries by Elizaveta Renne. I have just completed work on the forthcoming publication In the Olden Times: Victorians and the British Past by Andrew Sanders to be published in spring 2013. I also have experience of working on collecting images and permissions for an online publication – the Richard Wilson Online project. The Richard Wilson electronic catalogue raisonné is scheduled to be accessible in late 2013-early 2014 for the tercentenary of the artist’s birth. Providing free and open access to the works of Wilson for all researchers worldwide, Richard Wilson Online will complement the major exhibition of the artist’s work in 2014.
